acetate

Acetate or polyester is a derivative of acetic acid. This clear flexible film can be printed on, to create an exciting finish to your product. Acetate is a cost effective way to produce unique top quality results.

Advantages

1. Can be digitally or screen printed
2. Can be die cut, creased and folded
3. Gives a luxurious feel to the final product
4. Can also be foil blocked

  Suitable for, invitations . The suitable order size,   is anything from 100 upwards

We have done a variety of metal based projects and have recently created some visually striking and high impact work. This has ranged from a luxury invitation for a wedding, through to a metal folder for a high end event.

Advantages

1. Can be folded or hinged
2. There are various thicknesses, types and colours available
3. Can be screen printed, etched, through etched, surface etched, embossed and dye sublimation printed
4. Can be kept plain or lacquered

Disadvantages

1. Metal is a relatively expensive material compared to others and the cost is quite high on small production runs
2. Can sometimes become scuffed or damaged in transit or if handled incorrectly

Considerations
 has a relatively quick turnaround time compared to other materials (but please enquire with us at the time of the order) . Suitable for,  folders, invitations and tins. The suitable order size,   depends highly on the type of product.

WHAT IS PVC?

PVC is supplied on a roll and welded together using a high welding frequency technique. This can then create a number of unique effects including leather and matt which create a contemporary and unique feel to the product.

Advantages

1. A massive range or effects are available 

2. A deep permanent emboss can be created

3. Can also be screen printed

4. Can be 4 colour digital and litho printed.

Disadvantages

1. Non-recyclable

2. A rigid 3 dimensional product is very hard to create using PVC

Considerations

Lenticular PVC's are also available creating a wonderful bubble effect. Suitable for invitations, ring binders, menus and folders.The suitable order size depends on the product but can start quite low.
