CYBERFAQ

(Week 19)

FOAM

Foam is a protective padding material available in many different colours and formats.

Advantages

1. Foam comes in a wide range of colours and densities
2. Can be die cut, routed and laser cut
3. Can be cut to hold products safely by using the softness of the foam to give a push fit
4. Can be finished with a self-adhesive backing
5. Can be laser etched with a logo as in the above image

Disadvantages

1. Cannot be matched to a Pantone Colour - standard colours only available

Considerations
We require the contents of what will be going into your foam insert so that we can measure to the exact size that you need. Suitable for, foam can be produced into almost any shape and works well as a custom insert for your box. The suitable order size, depends on the box itself and dimensions but usually anything from 50 upwards.
