CYBERFAQ

(Week 16)

Acrylic comes in a number of different colours, shapes and sizes from highly transparent through to translucent and frosted shades to solid colours.


Advantages

1. Can be laser cut to shape
2. Can also be screen printed, digitally printed, laser etched, heat formed and glued
3. Also available in a range of creative effects such as glow edge, metallic and pearlescent.


Disadvantages
1. Poor impact resistance
2. Can crack under stress
3. Liable to scratches if stored incorrectly

Considerations
Normally has a very quick turnaround, compared to other materials but please check production schedule when enquiring. Suitable for products such as invitations, boxes and slipcases. The suitable order size, normally from 50 copies but depends on product so please check with us.
