Denimu

At first glance, it would be easy to mistaken British artist Ian Berry’s—also known as Denimu—artworks as blue-hued paintings of urban scenes. In actual fact, his pieces are crafted entirely from old blue jeans—which means that their attention to details is very impressive indeed.

Depicting the interiors of diners and bars, graffiti-covered abandoned houses, newspaper readers on the underground and other images of life in the city, Berry has turned the tough, utilitarian denim fabric into a versatile, artistic medium.
