An Edible Chocolate Glass, For Drinking Chocolate Beer

Japanese brewery Sankt Gallen, which launched a new line of chocolate beer earlier this year, released a limited edition Valentine’s Day gift set that contains a bottle of its Imperial Chocolate Stout and an intriguing edible glass that is made entirely out of chocolate.

Designed to melt in your mouth and not in your hands, one can use this chocolate glass to drink five servings of beer consecutively—at room temperature—without its surface melting at all.

According to Rocket News 24, the sweetness of this chocolate glass may be useful in counteracting the bitterness of the ultra-dark beer it comes with—you can choose to either save it for subsequent uses or gobble it up with your first drink.

Amazingly, the edible glass has a shelf life of two years and will only expire in February 2015.
