Photographer Captures The Fleeting Beauty Of Water Splashes

German photographer Markus Reugels specialises in micro-photography—other than flowers and insects, he has also captured the extremely fleeting beauty of splashing coloured water. Dubbed 'LiquidArt', Reugels’ images reveal the stunningly beautiful and complex structures of water splashes in all their minute details.

Using high-speed photographic techniques, he was able to freeze the millisecond when the water bounces up into the air and takes on amazing shapes and compositions.

Incredibly, these pictures have not been manipulated by Photoshop, but merely touched up to enhance the existing effect.
