Bare Crush by brainCELL

To make a fabulous icypole, you could convince a large animal to scale a great height and swan dive onto real 100% fruit, but it could be messy… unless it was a polar bear, in which case you would probably be around the north pole and the fruit would be frozen, but then it would be unlikely to be Australian made and owned.

So to make it simple, we take 100% fruit, crush it bare and put it into hibernation… freezing it onto a popstick to make a delicious, refreshingly pure treat.

The ebay Box

On the eBay Green Team, it’s our mission to “inspire the world to buy, sell and think green every day,” but just as often, it’s our customers and employees who inspire us to be environmentally friendly in new ways. The idea is called “simple green shipping” and it’s an environmentally friendly, durable box that’s been designed to be used over and over and over again. That might sound like a pretty simple concept, but it's actually pretty powerful – especially in a marketplace like eBay where many  buyers are also sellers and sellers are also buyers.

If every box gets reused at least five times, we could protect nearly 4,000 trees, save 2.4 million gallons of water and conserve enough energy to power 49 homes for a year. There is also plenty of space on the boxes for you – and everyone else who receives the box – to write a personal message to the next person in the chain, giving every box a life of its very own. The history of each box can also be tracked through a virtual community where buyers and sellers can connect online.

All of the eBay Boxes are made from 100% recycled content, FSC-certified corrugated cardboard and are fully recyclable.

Mixed Emotions Bottle Design

The idea is to sell emotions through a product. Each contains a different mix between a concoction and vodka. The concoction is a fruit blend that contains emotions such as love, sadness, happiness, fear and anger. The Mixed Emotions cocktail evokes an emotion and changes your attitude according to your preference. The spiral structure forms two straws that invite the consumer to visualize how the liquids combine as they drink. Because of its design, the consumers can dance, jump, go wild or do whatever they please without worrying about spilling their drink or breaking the bottle.

Hanger Tea

If the Hanger Tea were to be submitted as an entry to tea-packaging-awards (if such a thing existed), it would win hands down! There can't be a better or more obvious way to pack teabags than this hanger & T-shirt design. It’s a funny take on how the simple motion of hanging a used teabag on the rim of your cup, be done. Color-coded for different varieties, the hangers are rather cute and so are the tea-shirts!

Soy Mamelle Packaging

Soy milk “Soy mamelle” is a 100% vegetative product. It is a source of high grade fiber and calcium, containing no cholesterol and a proven ability to actually lower cholesterol levels in the human body.

This developed concept, by KIAN, of the package shape resembled an udder, which presents the first half of the message in that soy milk is identical to that of a cow. The second part of the message is delivered via the colour score and décor of the packaging, which concentrate on the phytogenesis of the product, creating an image of nature and health.

The packaging is developed with two options, individual and family size. The individual packaging is made out of glass, while the family size option is made of a natural latex material. The legs of the packaging are made of special valves and dose systems, which allow the container to fill multiple glasses simultaneously by gently squeezing it. In this case, the process of interacting with the packaging becomes more alive and interesting. This finding has tremendous potential for improvement of brand identity in POS-materials and nonstandard equipment trading.

Hydration Pen

Studies have proved that by the time children first become aware of the feeling of thirst, they have already lost 10 percent concentration in the school environment. Since concentration is the key to any kind of learning, the need to stay hydrated becomes even more important. Further studies indicate that most children, aged 15–18, are just not aware enough to understand the value of staying hydrated, and the rudimentary lecture in health class once a term is just not enough.

The Hydration Pen comes with an injection molded center which contains a printed circuit board that measures the BMI of the user. An electrical pulse runs from cast steel tip from one end, through the users’ arm, traveling across their chest and down the other arm and into the other end. As the body dehydrates, its fat content starts to lower and the monitor quickly measures that. Powered by AAA batteries, the pen simply shows results by flashing a color (green = hydrated and red = dehydrated) through the center band and lets the user know if they need to have a sip.
